From Student to Sole-Trader: TwoFold Founder Speaks at Coleg Gwent

All business owners start as students before embarking on a wild journey full of ups and downs, good jobs, not-so-great jobs, and everything in between. Last week, Emily Lewis, founder of TwoFold, had the honour of sharing her story with students at Coleg Gwent, speaking at both the Crosskeys and Ebbw Vale campuses.

Emily spoke about her career path, from her early student days to becoming a sole-trader running her own Squarespace website design business. She shared insights into the challenges and triumphs she encountered along the way, including lessons learned from both good and difficult experiences.

The talks were designed to inspire and inform students about what it really takes to launch a business, and the practical steps involved in turning ideas into a thriving career. Emily also shared tips on building skills, managing your own business, and navigating the transition from education to entrepreneurship.

At TwoFold, we’re passionate about supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs, whether it’s through education, mentoring, or creating websites that help businesses grow.
