TwoFold Hosts Hands-On Squarespace Website Workshop for Start-Up Businesses in Caerphilly

On 27 January 2026, Emily from TwoFold hosted an in-person website workshop at Welsh ICE, Caerphilly Business Park, bringing together local service-based businesses at the very start of their entrepreneurial journey.

The full-day session was designed to tackle one of the most common challenges new business owners face: creating a professional website without the overwhelm, guesswork, or agency-level costs.

A practical, launch-ready approach to website building

Unlike traditional training sessions that focus heavily on theory, this workshop was intentionally practical. Attendees were guided step-by-step through building their own Squarespace website, with the goal of leaving the room ready to launch by the end of the day.

The workshop was aimed specifically at start-up and early-stage service-based businesses that needed a high-quality website on a realistic budget. At just £199, the session offered an accessible alternative for entrepreneurs who want to get online quickly without compromising on clarity, structure, or professionalism.

Throughout the day, participants were supported through:

  • Choosing the right website structure for a service-based business

  • Creating clear, user-focused page content

  • Understanding how design and layout affect credibility and trust

  • Removing friction from the website creation process so progress felt achievable

Supporting entrepreneurs at the start of their journey

For many early-stage entrepreneurs, building a website can feel overwhelming, especially when paired with limited budgets and competing priorities. By hosting the session in person, TwoFold was able to provide real-time guidance, reassurance, and momentum, helping attendees move past perfectionism and into action.

Hosting the event at Welsh ICE, a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship in South Wales, reinforced the focus on community, collaboration, and practical support for local businesses.

Looking ahead

Following the success of the Caerphilly workshop, TwoFold is exploring opportunities to deliver private workshops for business communities, and support networks that work with start-ups and service-based businesses.

These sessions can be tailored to the audience, whether that’s early-stage founders, funded programmes, or membership organisations looking to equip their community with essential digital skills.
