Worsley Mediation

Worsley Mediation offers mediation services to ex-couples. Paul, the Business Owner, needed a website refresh for the one-page website and be able to capture new leads.

Challenges

The Worsley Mediation website had 3 main problems:

  • Negative imagery: Many of the photos featured people who looked upset which didn’t highlight the benefit of the service and how people could feel after.

  • No call-to-actions: There were no CTAs buttons to encourage visitors to take action.

  • Distracting content: The privacy policy and complaints procedure were on the homepage which distracted from the main messaging.

Solutions

To resolve these problems, I designed and built a Squarespace 7.1 website with the following solutions:

  • Added an anchor text menu so people can quickly skip to the information section.

  • Created an enquiry form to capture leads and allow people to easily enquire.

  • Updated imagery to smiling happy faces to enhance the positivity and benefit of using the service.

  • Added extra pages to put legal information, such as a privacy policy, and to avoid distraction on the homepage.

  • Created an accordion section to make the long text about the fees easier to engage with.

  • Made call-to-action buttons throughout which go to the integrated enquiry form.

  • Updated colours, fonts and illustrations to make it modern, professional, warm and friendly.
